The Addiction Clinic

CocaineTreatment.

Our Outpatient Cocaine Treatment Program operates for 5 days or nights each week, including weekend phone check-ins throughout the month. Participation can occur either in person or through Zoom or phone.

Cocaine produces its psychoactive and addictive effects primarily by acting on the brain’s limbic system, a set of interconnected regions that regulate pleasure and motivation.

An initial, short-term effect—a buildup of the neurochemical dopamine—gives rise to euphoria and a desire to take the drug again and again.

Using it increases your risk of serious and sometimes life-threatening medical conditions like heart attack, stroke, and drug overdose.

Cocaine use disorder (addiction) can also result in significant mental health problems.

CocaineTreatment Program.

The Addiction Clinic‘s methodology for treating cocaine addiction is widely recognized as the foremost initiative of its kind across New Zealand. This recognition stems from its deviation from the typical frameworks of residential rehabilitation centers.

Unlike traditional residential rehab facilities that emphasize group therapy while providing minimal attention to individual needs, our cocaine addiction treatment program distinguishes itself by offering you a personal and dedicated team of specialists in the realm of cocaine addiction treatment.

You will work with a prominent New Zealand Psychotherapist who specializes in cocaine treatment.

The addiction clinic employs Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) that can alter brain activity and reshape your neural pathways, resulting in modifications to your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Neural pathways serve as the communication network of the brain, formed by interconnected neurons that transmit signals across the brain and body, thereby shaping your present state of reality.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is globally acknowledged by medical professionals and cognitive behavioral specialists as the premier intervention for meth dependence.

Our distinguished clinicians possess an outstanding understanding of cocaine addiction and will promptly tackle the underlying cause of your cocaine addiction.

In addition to the psychotherapist’s extensive expertise, a senior addiction counselor complements the team.

This senior staff member has received comprehensive training in the treatment of drug addiction, specifically focusing on relapse prevention, and works with you daily to formulate strategies for managing risks.

Establishing coping mechanisms is essential to ensure long-term recovery for individuals.

Our evidence-based outpatient rehabilitation program employs a sophisticated three-phased strategy for addressing drug addiction.
